We're really starting to make our way into 2018 and I love it but I'm also terrified. Is everyone making progress on their new year's resolutions? I know I am! Making my way, but still some progress to go (so 2018 please don't go to quickly)
This weekend brought a whirlwind of things, Sunday my sorority held a massive fundraiser of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and I couldn't be more proud to support an organisation. Anyone who has spoken to me for at least 30 seconds knows that I can't stop talking about my family and RMHC embodies that value in everything they are by providing homes for families while their children get treatment for life-threatening illnesses. If you get a chance please go support your local RMHC because it will be well-worth it.
This week has me completely destroyed with school, but that's the sacrifice you make when you decide school and music at the same time is a good idea. On the BRIGHT side (you'll get that pun in a second), Vancouver is finally a gorgeous city again. The sun is out and I don't know how long it will last but I'm completely basking in it. It's actually a miracle what a nice day will do to your mood, and after 3 months of rain Lord knows I need some sunny days coming in.
In terms of music (because I guess that's what this is actually for), I have a show at the Roxy Cabaret in Vancouver, Thursday March 15th. I'll be playing at around 8:30/8:45 and I have every intention to play some new music. Intrigued? You should be :) I've been working really hard on new stuff and as much as a stagnant-school-life can leave me a little high and dry in the songwriting-content department, I'm doing my finest.
Well I hope you wonderful humans have got your fill of me for now.
From me, with love, to you,
What's going on?
Here's a place where I'll try to keep you updated on what's going on in my life and with my music to keep you connected.
